The Wild Geese Irish Honey Liqueur has taken the top prize in the liqueur category at the 2021 Concours International Top Spirit Awards.
This competition is judged by an independent panel of over 60 spirit experts and the medal is the latest in a series of awards won by The Wild Geese Irish Honey Liqueur.
The honey liqueur is a blend of Irish whiskey and a 100% pure natural honey from Tipperary and Kilkenny. It is the only honey liqueur produced in Ireland.
The liqueur beat off a host of competition in a blind taste test, with the jury judging on criteria including nose, colour, taste and price. Judging across all categories took place over more than 20 sessions and 70 hours of tasting, with over 325 spirits from all over the world competing.
