When the call to adventure echoed on Twitter last night, Tom Montgomery-Swan answered.

Adventurer and UK TV presenter Ben Fogle put out a plea asking for someone to help him get from Poole to Portsmouth. Both cities lay on the British coast and Tom Montgomery-Swan dashed to Poole to answer Ben’s call – in a speedboat.

Ben Fogle was due to appear at Portsmouth Community Grammar School to give a talk covering his many years of adventures in all corners of the globe. Tom made sure that he arrived in style and they reached Portsmouth harbour as the sun was setting – in perfect time for Ben to make his talk (although we’re betting he had to make a slight adjustment to it to include his latest adventure).
