Three years ago Mike Perham braved the open seas to become the youngest person to sail round the world. That sense of adventure has now returned to Mike, and he’s planning to circumnavigate the globe once again, this time on land.
On July 3rd, Mike will begin a 23,000 mile journey to raise money for disaster relief charity ShelterBox. He will start at Prime Meridian Walk in London, and venture through Europe, Russia, China, Laos, Singapore, australia, New Zealand and America, before returning to Britain.
He plans to stop at 6 locations that have received emergency supplies from ShelterBox, including Thailand and Christchurch.
Mike really shares that same adventurous spirit The Wild Geese showed, and there seems to be no breaking his determination.
Mike is hoping to raise £1 for every mile he travels, which will go a long way to helping those affected by natural disasters.
