It slowly develops with apricot,
light vanilla and cocoa notes,
sustaining a powerful, lingering finish
with a touch of dried spice.
On the nose there are distinct yet light and fresh notes, sage and eucalyptus, in harmony
with a strong depth.
The palate is an elegant balance of deft sweetness and pronounced alcohol starting with a light vanilla, mango and banana, smoothly developing into the burnished, rich nuttiness of ripe asparagus and herbaceous eucalyptus.
Light anise and camphorous ginger come to the front before softening into a long, pleasant, almond and butterscotch finish, carefully holding just long enough to leave a light spicy and floral resonance.
The nose is full and sweet, candied citrus fruits,
orange and lime with a layer of toffee sponge.
On the palate the spices come quickly to the fore, first cinnamon and black liquorice giving way to dark
chocolate and notes of cedar and pine and then
softly sweet Madagascan vanilla.
The robust and lingering mouthfeel seamlessly
integrates with the gently merging spices to produce
a long, warm and beautifully rounded finish.
